Drywall Remoal

Some times when your walls are affected by water you cannot tell how the drywall is going to dry. There are sometimes underlying barriers that hinder drying. In this case there was foil backed insulation be hind the drywall, causing the drywall not to dry.  Unfortunately when his happens it is necessary to remove the affected drywall instead of attempting to dry it.  The time effort and cost associated with drying the wall with foil back insulation would far exceed the cost to repair it due to the entire wall being saturated. Once the drywall was removed it was quite easy to dry the remaining structure.
