Wood Floor Drying

Unlike laminate wood flooring, when real hard wood floors get affected by water damages often times they can be salvaged and restored. The wood floors at this commercial furniture store were damaged by rain coming through the ceiling during Hurricane Irma. In order to salvage these floors we set up a floor drying tent on the floors which enabled us to get the floors back to a normal moisture content level.  Even thought the floors were returned to a normal moisture content level there were secondary damages like buckling to the floors. Luckily the floors are real wood floors and the buckling will be sanded down by a flooring company and refinished saving the insured from the cost of replacement.
