Growth Behind The Water Heater of a Longwood Home

For this insured, mold was lurking in a rarely used closet.  Once they discovered the growth they gave us a call to start the remediation process. We were able to set proper containment and negative air (to prevent the cross contamination into the home).  We bagged the affected materials and removed them from the home leaving behind the studs, which we treated with an antimicrobial.  Once growth was properly removed from the residence, they were able to contact an industrial hygienist in order to assure that all of the growth was in fact gone.  Once the clearance came back the insured was able to rebuild their closet.
